The longevity on his 2 most famous plays, Swan Lake & Nutcracker is insane.
More than a hundred years later, it’s still filling opera’s around the world.
Not to mention the dedication of each individual troupe member and musician.
Years of hard work, practice and perfection…
All coming together to deliver a LIVE play.
It’s one of the inspirations behind my live workshop.

There’s a second reason I enjoy “live“ activities.
First, I’m sitting behind my laptop all day long.
It taxes the brain.
And you NEED activities to let your active brain rest, so your subconscious can work.
When you’re watching an opera or ballet, that’s typically 3 hours without a screen.
And I always feel refreshed after a play.
It’s also the reason I love playing Poker and practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
There’s something raw about both games.
You will never see or experience the RAW emotionality behind money and human psychology other than a Poker game.
The weight of every dollar, the weird characters that come and play, the musty rooms, the shit talking…
All come together for an epic drama you take part in.
I say this often but…
You’ll learn more about yourself in a casino than a church.
You won’t achieve enlightenment sitting under a tree.
True detachment comes when you’re battling against someone else.
Firing off every dollar trying to break your opponent and take all their money.
While they try the same thing.
Same with Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
A highly technical sport you can dedicate your whole life to.
If you watch the best grapplers in the world. They stay calm and fluid, in the most insane, tense situations.
If you’ve competed in sports before you know exactly what I’m talking about.
The adrenaline dump is crazy.
Making the live performance of top grapplers even more impressive.
