Firing rockets into the abyss
Well, I caught a nasty fever and am bedridden.
So I have some time to write my newsletter.
And share some amazing wins.
First, a lesson in respecting your deadlines.
Had 6 people wanting to join my Direct Response Accelerator after my deadline.
But being the principled bandit I am, I had to reject the money they wanted to hand me, $18k total.
When I say I will do something, I always do it.
Even if it's to my detriment after the fact.
I gave money or paid people out who 100% did not deserve it.
Just because I said I would before working with them.
Because when your word is will, and you stick to it like your code of honor...
It becomes something very powerful.
All the deals I do, publishing, affiliate, whatever, were pretty much done on "my word"
And people know to trust it.
Honor amongst thieves or whatever you want to call it.
That has to be the best part of being a direct response advertiser.
You can do things YOUR WAY.
Live life on YOUR TERMS.
Money falls out the sky.
You just have to go out there and grab it.
The more shots you fire.
The higher your chance of success.
Most people feel like giving up after taking 1 shot.
And if that's you...
JUST GIVE UP.
Because truth is... We can't all make it.
Someone has to stay behind and tell the stories of the people who do.
Someone has to put the fries in the bag.
Someone has to serve me in the sisha lounge.
When the top gets too crowded it's not fun.
I think that's why entrepreneurship is so beautiful.
The universe has this automatic filter for the spineless.
Just to illustrate this point even further.
I got this new affiliate / publishing deal going.
For an offer I never ever tried before, in a completely different format.
My first FIVE shots completely failed.
Down the drain bout 5 grand in adspend.
Imagine the embarrassment, especially after the creator paid me 3 grand to join my private group.
No matter...
The way I see it, it's 5 grand in data, 5 grand admission fee, 5 grand down payment for riches.
I got to work again.
Wrote another letter.
6th shot hit.
And boy did it HIT HARD.
Now that promotion is smooth sailing.
Couple of funnel adjustments here and there.
And few ads extra per week.
I estimate this should bring me in an extra 30-50k profit per month.
Will update you on this.
Remember the age old saying:
Lady Luck favours the bold.
Anyways some slice of life.
I'm back in Prague.
Think I'll be here a month or two.
I always enjoy my time in Prague.
Great Poker rooms, great gyms for BJJ and overall positive atmosphere.
Also hosting my first inperson event here end of this September.
It's going to be an awesome group, about 3 millionaires attending and the rest is all making more than 15k USD per month.
So quite a fun gathering.
If this goes well, I'm sure I'll do more events.
I'm considering Marrakech, Istanbul, Dubai and Hong Kong for the next inperson event.
The Prague event is free for my private group members.
But next ones I'll open it up to the public.
I've realised that with the amount I travel, doing these in person events would be great.
