Most business owners take little pride in what they do.

It's a means to an end.

That's why you see many of them get burnt out, on the verge of putting a bullet in their head, once they reached their so called peak.

Or they replace it with an endless treadmill of hedonism.

Others numb it with substances.

But there's a "cure" to this.

That is to take massive pride in what you do.

Like an artist would.

The topic came up when a newsletter reader asked me an interesting question:

With so many opportunities out there, whats ur framework for picking what to focus on?

I had to think about it for a moment.

But my answer was simple.

The truth is that I don't know, and don't really care.

Because I see myself as an artist.

Every shot is just a new piece I'm creating.

Some pop off.

Most are trash.

But it's the process of creation that I enjoy, the end result and whether or not the market enjoys it, is a pleasant bonus.

For my bank account.

But it's not necessary for me to continue the process.

Think about it.

Van Gogh died without ever seeing success.

Yet he expressed himself day after day.

Jean Michel Basquiat, worked day and night, without seeing any success.

Until Andy Warhol discovered him.

Future wrote songs for a decade without being noticed.

Artists do it for the love of the game.

For me it's the same with business.

At the end of the day business is all about creation.

Creation is the highest form of art you can have.

It's self expression.

You are touching someone's live in one way or another when you sell them.

Changing beliefs and shifting their worldview.

Take pride in that.

I'll admit, I lost that vision sometimes.

But writing this newsletter has helped me find that passion again.

And it's also given me the opportunity to work on amazing offers.

Which I covered in last week's workshop.

The results are already in.

This is unusual, as you know, my hitrate is only 20%.

Spend 60 bucks - got 256 back.

So might have a banger.

The offer I built live last weekend on the workshop

I'm doing part 2 of the weekend workshop this weekend. Where I'll break down the copy, funnels, and how I plan to scale this to $300k per month.

If you want to attend and get the recording where I brainstorm the offer from zero.

Follow the link below.

Remember, no other guru has the balls to build offers live. They all talk about it. But none of them fire the shots. You know who I'm talking about. Ask to see their ads and results, nothing will come up in the ad library.

I'm not saying I'm a prodigy or a better marketer, in fact, I'm a D-tier copywriter at best. There are hundreds that outwrite, outsell, outmarket me.

Despite that. Despite the 20% hitrate.

Despite English being the third language I learned.

I've still managed to generate $17M+ with faceless offers. With incredible profit and cash in the bank. Allowing me to take even more shots.

But most important of all, I'm doing it MY WAY.

I'm not following any existing blueprint. Not running call funnels. All my efforts, findings came from first principles I discovered by firing dollars into the market.

Join my journey to $100M+ as I attempt to dethrone the old guard and become this generations nr.1 Direct Response Operator.

On this topic, realizing where I enjoy operating the most. It's in creating new campaigns. Sales letters. Funnel building. Etc...

I enjoy teaching. But only to a very select few who take mad action. For everyone else it drains energy like mad.

Also hosted my first live event and that just killed my energy, it was a LOT harder than I expected.

Meeting everyone in person I've been chatting to was dope as hell.

I always like it more than online relationships. Used to fly all my hires and copywriters to hang out.

But now I realize event wise.

It's way more fun ATTENDING than HOSTING.

It gives me newfound appreciation for gurus and coaches who do this for YEARS.

Especially the ones who go further than just some online zoom calls.

I'll write about the event soon.

All this made me realize that my path is to partner with people who have amazing products, experiences and offers.

Alright, this newsletter issue been a long ramble.

HMU, if you got any questions, or if you want me to write about some topic.

Much love,

Zhihao Huang
