This letter is hilarious, it's extremely weird, but 100% true.
And I'll use the "Tale Of Two Men, Wall Street" swipe story to tell this.
When I started hitting my first $10k days I needed help, and hired for the first time.
This was before the big AI boom few years ago.
My first hire came from X, I tweet there a lot to find talent.
He was a 18-year old guy from Istanbul, Turkey.
And the story I'm about to share might turn you off from ever going to Istanbul - BUT KNOW THAT HE DOES NOT REFLECT Turkey at all.
If you know me you know I traveled all over Turkey and enjoy it very much.
And I always recommend Istanbul as a place to travel to.
Anyways, he came on, I trained him, and his first month he received about $6000+ in commission.
He crushed it.
Wrote a CRAZY winning ad format that other affiliates in the niche ended up swiping.
It was the vice ad, for the ones that know, you know what I'm talking about.
And you know how much this ad PRINTED.
But he had terrible behaviour.
Always ADHD, not really listening to advice, always distracted and looking for other money making opportunities.
I delayed firing him for a while since the ad brought in big money, and I know he's VERY talented.
After all, his first ad CRUSHED.
But talent means nothing when talent doesn't work hard.
And he sets the prime example of it.
A couple of days ago, this was confirmed.
His post from X came on my feed.
It's shocking and slightly disturbing:
I shit you not.
He's literally posting about watching porn and doomconsuming Youtube every day.
Had to put him on mute to stop seeing this crap on my feed.
And Turkish gooner was very talented - he could've easily been a millionaire since the time I fired him.
Instead he's just jerking off all day.
Now I want to tell you about the second hire. A german / thai.
I must say this guy was pretty fucking tarded.
But somehow his ads ended up winning the hiring contest so I said f it let's give this guy a chance.
The performance was alright, he never lost me money, he made me money, but he was far from talented.
In terms of talent and raw material he was way worse than the Turkish gooner.
Turkish gooner understood concepts by just looking at some swipes and what I showed him.
German / thai needed 3 explanations, mad reminders, and did not understand concepts at all.
He worked but was really average on all levels, not much more to say.
Then to my pleasant surprise about a year later he send me this message:
German Thai Did a million with eCom.
Crazy right?
This is the perfect example of hard work beating talent when talent doesn't work hard.
In many ways I'm like the german / asian guy.
I suck at marketing, advertising and copywriting.
My average hitrate for offers is only 20%.
And in many ways a lot of you are like Turkish gooner.
All the people I hire, or teach are more talented, smarter and sharper than me.
Turkish gooner had a winner on his first ad that ended up generating multi 6-figures.
So how come Turkish gooner is still stuck?
He's too smart, and mentally masturbating all day.
And also jerking off all day.
But don't laugh at him...
Because you're probably the same.
Just like many of you, mentally masturbating to potential success, analysis paralysis, making these crazy plans, what you can do, instead of just retardmaxxing and pulling the trigger.
You are too smart for your own good.
Now when I coach people I tell them don't be smart, don't mentally masturbate, just fire rockets into the abyss.
So what happens when you combine talent with hard work?
You have the third hire, I wrote about in my Budapest letter, the French conqueror, mr. Napoleon himself.
Talented planning and vision with autistic action taking.

Then my final challenge might be for oyu.
I want to take you under my wings.
Show you how it's done.
I want to push you to the limits.
I want you to go through a torturous metamorphosis to become a money making machine.
Remember - you won't become talented out of nowhere, but you can be like German Thai and outwork talent. Or you can keep jerking off and stay a gooner for life.
