Before I start - in my last post I dropped a hiring post for a telegram community member.
He's a 7-figure bizop coach. Pacing 8 figures. And is looking for a direct response copywriter to join his team. Great pay. It's base + performance.
And while I don't reply to each application - do know that everything gets forwarded to him.
Here's the link again in case you missed it:
I want to make a comment on this before I move on to the main topic.
And that is the level of skill is embarrassingly low.
How can you apply as a copywriter and not be able to sell yourself well?

Big one is making nutty claims without any proof.
I still can't believe how some writers make millions for clients but then apply for jobs.
Make it make sense.
For me freelance copywriting is a stepping stone until you get the hang of things.
OR if you REALLY REALLY love freelancing, by the time you make millions for clients - you should be flooded with referrals. Nullifying the need to apply for jobs altogether.
Occam's razor states that the simplest reason is most likely the correct one.
AKA they suck at writing copy. That's why all the clients churn. And they get no referrals.
No stickrate and no retention - leading to the classic 3 month cycle of hunting for clients, 3 months of pay, 3 months of hunting, 3 months of pay, etc...
All because they are BAD at the thing they're selling.
Which is 100% fine, you don't need to be a god-level copywriter to make millions online.
Affiliates, advertisers, and yours truly, myself is living proof.
I remember this INDIAN AND BALKAN copywriter saying I make a lot of spelling mistakes and grammar mistakes!
Imagine that...
I'm truly a D-tier copywriter.
Well below average.
But despite that I've made a good living for myself as a copywriter.
Without any clients.
How?
By using a simple direct response structure I've come to follow.
As close to fill in the blank as possible...
To sell anything.
You can use this structure to sell yourself.
Or you can use this structure to sell your own products, as I've done.
This Saturday, 5pm Madrid time, I'll be hosting my second live webinar on direct response copywriting.
I'll be teaching my structure the OG way, socratic method.
Where I'll break down one of my winning sales letters. Not sure which one yet and which market.
But it'll be fun.
Everything will be recorded for your convenience, and I'll probably sell the recording afterwards as a low ticket to build my name.
Look, the purpose of this email is simple.
There are 2 reasons that inspired this workshop.
1 - I get a lot of friends, connections, people from my network who always ask me to hire copywriters. Some more ethically flexible than others.
It's super embarrassing for me to send over all these applicants that absolutely suck.
ESPECIALLY when someone gets hired and CHURNS month 1.
You don't have to attend the workshop but DO SOMETHING to get better at copywriting.
The big leagues are calling you up to work for em and you show up fat, overweight, lethargic with absolutely no training.
2 - copywriters are a massive circlejerk. It must be the most autistic crowd I've met in the internet marketing space who make the least amount of money. It's a direct correlation. Despite that I love the art. I have to show how simple it is, plus I think it's going to be a good hook for cold traffic to get clout.
This newsletter kind of serves as my diary and I want to include some slice of life.
Spain is COOKING hot right now.
Plus it feels awfully dry.
Still, it's quiet charm is starting to stick on me.
Kind of funny how everything just dies OUT completely around the afternoon, before getting busy again at night.
I wonder what the average person does during that time.
I also dropped into a BJJ gym here and I've been told that Alexander Usyk and Anthony Joshua (legendary boxers) both live.
People often spot them running by the beach.
As for BJJ and grappling.
Man I've never been athletic in my life and it sucks to suck.
It's a very enjoyable hobby.
But to get better I need to seriously focus up.
Can't just show up to class and go through it without thinking.
Have to consciously think and move through positions. Which is easier to talk about than to actually do.
So I'll write down goals to work on and 1 specific position I need to get before each class.
Alright that's it for today.
Don't forget to sign up for the workshop.
Talk soon,
